Disney Netpal Pink
The Disney Netpal by Asus is a mini laptop for kids to cut
their teeth on. This pretty pink model is all a little girl needs to have fun, stay in touch with her friends
and listen to music on Disney Radio.
This pink netbook weighs in at only 2.2 pounds and is slightly smaller than a 8
1/2 X 11 sheet of paper. The
computer was designed with kids in mind so it was built to be extremely durable. Nothing was left to
chance as Asus included a spill-proof keyboard. Just in case though, you can purchase a high-density neoprene
protective case for your Netpal.
So why a Disney Netpal for your child instead of a regular old laptop? The
answer is simple. It has the Disney name attached to it which means fun and learning for the kids. As they get
older they can design their desktop to suit their age. For example, a younger child may want the Disney character
Cinderella on her desktop whereas an older girl would probably prefer a picture of Hanna Montana or the Jonas
Brothers. These customizable themes come with the software.
The Disney Netpal runs on the Windows XP platform
and is enhanced with Disney Magic desktop software. It comes with built-in wireless connectivity
as wells as a webcam, microphone and stereo speakers. This is the perfect go anywhere computer for your little
princess. And, with 5 hours of battery play there won't be any disappointment when the music shuts off.
Every parent today has major concerns about their child being online. Disney and
Asus decided to install up to 12 parental controls on the Netpal. Parents can get a daily report
showing where their kids have been on the internet, what sites they have visited or tried to visit. Any site not
deemed to be kid approved will need a parent to input their password in order for the child to gain access. Email
can also be safely limited by parents by pre-selecting email options for their kids. The web can be a dangerous
place for children and all care has been taken to ensure your child has a fun and safe internet experience.
